Hidup Di Dalam Tuhan
"Hendaklah kamu berakar di dalam Dia dan dibangun di atas Dia, hendaklah kamu bertambah teguh dalam iman yang telah diajarkan kepadamu, dan hendaklah hatimu melimpah dengan syukur." - Kolose 2:7
Sebagai orang yang percaya, Paulus mendorong kita untuk hidup di dalam Dia. Di dalam hadiratNya. Di dalam naunganNya. Di dalam damai sejahtera yang dia beri. Di dalam kelimpahaNya. Di dalam kemenangan yang sudah ada bagi kita semua. Segala janji-janji Tuhan yang berharga dan sangat besar (2 Petrus 1:4) tersedia bagi kita asalkan kita di dalam Dia.
Masalah dan tantangan dalam hidup ada untuk menguji ketahanan kita di dalam Tuhan. Apa maksudnya? Dibangun di atas Dia berarti bahwa fondasi hidup kita adalah Tuhan sendiri. Kehidupan pribadi kita, keluarga kita, pekerjaan kita, "study" kita harus didasari oleh Tuhan. Dikatakan di Alkitab bahwa FirmanNya adalah Dia sendiri. Dasari hidup kita dengan fondasi Firman. Jika kita ingin lebih tinggi, fondasi Firman pun harus semakin dalam, sehingga bila terjadi goncangan, hidup kita tidak akan runtuh. Pernikahan kita tetap kokoh. Pekerjaan, "study", pelayanan kita tetap kuat.
Setiap melewati tantangan demi tantangan, apa yang terjadi? Jika kita berakar di dalam Tuhan, dibangun di atas Dia, maka iman kita akan terus bertambah dan hasil dari semuanya itu adalah sukacita yang melimpah.
